An application presenting Lausanne's university campus and called SmartCampus is available on AppStore. It shows all latest videos and news of the campus, and many other services like a map of the campus, which will be very practical for delegates to find conferences' rooms.
The programme of the fifth edition of 2012 WSES was released on Monday, the 9th of July. In less two months, about 80 delegates of all over the world will reach Lausanne to exchange their views of change. Some events during the summit are public. All conferences and workshops are listed in the Programme page.
As the second day of the WSES will be held under the theme of "International Change" and due to Lausanne's proximity to Geneva, the WSES delegates and organizing team are going to visit the United Nations Geneva Headquarters. The afternoon will start with a guided tour of the Palais des Nations.
If you're delegates, you're maybe asking you how to come in Lausanne. The page Travel informations shows all routes from swiss airports: Zurich, Geneva and Basel. After landing, you'll have to take the train. The swiss train company is called "CFF" in french. You can find all usefull informations about timetables and tickets on the website www.cff.ch.
The World Student Environmental Summit which runs from 5 to 8 September 2012 will be the fifth edition. The reports of the four previous editions are now available for download on the page The WSEN. They present the results of discussions at Doshisha (2008), Victoria (2009), Tübingen (2010) and in Sweden (2011).

The 2012 WSES committee sent today official invitations to selected delegates. We can assure you that the selection process was very tight! For those who did not get a response today, we still have some incomplete files to be sent by your respective universities!
