How to reach Lausanne?

From Geneva Airport (GVA)

From GVA, you should take the train to Lausanne. To reach Geneva Airport railway station (Genève-Aéroport), you have to take your left after exiting luggage recovery hall and walk down the hall. Enter the revolving door, you will reach the railway station. Follow this sign to reach Geneva Airport railway station:

Trains to Lausanne leave Geneva Airport approximatively every 20 minutes. You can buy your ticket at a cash machine (cash or credit card accepted) or at a counter. Be careful, you can't buy a ticket on the train, you have to buy it before boarding. A 2nd class one-way ticket costs approximatively 25 Swiss Francs (CHF). The journey to Lausanne lasts max. 50 minutes, depending on the itinerary. Tickets and timetable are available online on www.cff.ch.

From Zurich Airport (ZRH)

From ZRH, you should take the train to Lausanne. Zurich Airport railway station (Zurich Flughafen) is located in the second basement of the airport, under Terminal B after the Customs. Follow this sign to reach Zurich Airport railway station:

Trains to Lausanne leave Zurich Airport approximatively every 30 minutes. You can buy your ticket at a cash machine (cash or credit card accepted) or at a counter. Be careful, you can't buy a ticket on the train, you have to buy it before boarding. A 2nd class one-way ticket costs approximatively 70 Swiss Francs (CHF). The journey to Lausanne lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes, depending on the itinerary. For some links, you have to change the train in Biel-Bienne. From Basel Euro Airport (EAP)

From EAP, you have to take a bus to Basel railway station (Basel SBB), where you can take a train to Lausanne. You can buy your ticket at the airport in the arrival hall, at a cash machine (cash or credit card accepted) or at a counter, on the same level as the luggage delivery hall. A 2nd class one-way ticket costs approximatively 65 Swiss Francs (CHF). It includes the bus to Basel railway station and the train-ride to Lausanne. Take the Bus 50 to Basel SBB train station. The bus 50 leaves in front of the arrival hall (bus stop Basel Euro Airport). Follow this sign to reach Basel railway station:

In Lausanne

Once in Lausanne station, you have to go to the main hall (a big clock is found on the wall). To reach this meeting point, you should take the direction of plateform 1, which is situated next to it. There will be someone with a WSES board to welcome you and guide you to the hotel.
